UK brand Out 'n' About has gained a huge following for its range of jogging buggies and this model is their most popular running buggy. It's light and easy to steer, but also has large robust 16" wheels that can tackle any terrain. It comes with a fixed wheel that is easy to lock straight when you're running. However, you can utilize the lever on the handlebar, and let the front wheel swivel when you're walking around or climbing hills.

The suspension is superb especially on rough and bumpy bridleways in the Peak District where we tested it. The only complaint was that the brake on the handlebar isn't as responsive as we'd like, and the Nipper Sport V4 can't be used with a baby car or car seat (although it can take an infant insert and has an appropriate carrycot for occasional overnight sleeps).

It's pretty easy to build - we were able to do it in just 10 minutes and found the instructions extremely clear. The hood and the seat liner must be installed by you, but it's not difficult. It's all it takes is patience to feed the harness straps into respective slits on the cushioned seat liners. The back of the seat is a medium-sized storage pouch, but it's not big enough to hold a change bag.

The Out 'n' About Nipper Sport V4 is suitable for use from the moment of birth. However, it's recommended to wait until the baby is six months old before allowing it for running.
